Aiken MOPS/MOMSnext

Aiken, SC

About Our Chapter

MOPS stands for “mothers of preschoolers” – but don’t let that confuse you. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten. Whether you’re urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single or married, MOPS is for you! The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire – to be the best mothers they can be. Our sponsoring church (but non-affiliated) is South Aiken Presbyterian Church located on Whiskey Road. We meet the second Tuesday of each month (August through May) from 5:45 pm – 8:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

What is a MOPS meeting?
A MOPS meeting includes food and fellowship, plus time for sharing on issues relevant to moms and families today. Each meeting is different! From community speakers, open forums, crafts, game nights to Spa Days a MOPS meeting is something you will look forward to. Spend time with other mothers who can relate and support you. We have door prizes, too!

Do I have to be a member of a church or South Aiken Presbyterian Church to attend MOPS?
No, you do not have to attend South Aiken Presbyterian Church or be a member of another church to attend MOPS…the only qualification is that you must be a new mom or a mom of a preschooler.

If you plan to join us, please let us know how many children will attend. This will ensure we have enough caregivers and food. Your first MOPS meeting is always free so come check us out!!!
